Haiti asks UN, US to send troops after president’s assassination

Colombian officials are stepping up assistance to Haiti following the assassination of Haitian President Jovenel Moise.
Moise was killed in his home on Wednesday by a heavily-armed hit squad. Haitian police say it was made up of mostly foreign mercenaries.
