In the east of Ukraine fighting continues to rage over the city of Bakhmut. It’s the longest-running battle since the Russian invasion.

Bakhmut has been fought over for seven months and tens of thousands of Ukrainian and Russian troops have been killed there.

Huw Edwards presents a BBC News at Ten special report by Quentin Sommerville and cameraman Darren Conway – who spent time on the frontline with Ukrainian soldiers just 500 metres from Russian forces.
