German defence minister Boris Pistorious has denied that his country is isolated within Nato as it continues to resist sending battle tanks to Ukraine.
Ukraine has called on the West to provide the German-made Leopard 2 tanks which they say will help them defeat Russia.
However, Germany is yet to agree and its export laws have stood in Poland’s way.
Speaking during a press conference with Nato Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, Pistorious said he expected a decision on the delivery of the tanks “soon”.
