The first group of Thai workers to be evacuated after the start of the Israel-Hamas war arrived in Bangkok on October 12, 2023. The 41 people returned to Thailand on a commercial flight from Israel. The group included two men who were wounded in the violence who were seen using wheelchairs to exit the aircraft.
