COVID-19 crisis escalates across Asia Pacific

Authorities in Australia’s second most populous state of Victoria have imposed a one-week lockdown to contain a COVID-19 outbreak detected earlier this week.

Malaysia, which now has more cases per capita than India, is struggling to contain the virus.
