Iraqi PM Sudani and Syria’s Assad hold talks in Damascus

Iraq’s Prime Minister is in Syria, for a rare official visit. It is the first such trip by an Iraqi premier since the start of the Syrian war in 2011.
Mohammed Shia al Sudani held talks with President Bashar Al-Assad in Damascus.
The two leaders discussed securing their shared border and strengthening economic ties.
