Pakistan’s provinces along the Afghan border have come under repeated attack by Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan.
The armed group is also known as the T-T-P or the Pakistani Taliban.
Islamabad accuses the Taliban government in Afghanistan of allowing these fighters to use its territory to launch attacks.
The Afghans deny this.
