A 74-year-old Palestinian activist from Ramallah, spends six months in Israelis jail

Israeli forces have arrested more than eight thousand Palestinians in the occupied West Bank since the beginning of the war on Gaza. Those who’ve been released, talk about ill-treatment, lack of food, and medical negligence in prisons. Al Jazeera spoke with Omar Assaf, a 74-year-old Palestinian activist from Ramallah who spent six months in an Israeli jail. When he was released, his family barely recognized him.
