US winter storm: Two-thirds of country under weather warnings

At least a dozen people have been killed in the United States, with the weather predicted to become even more severe on Saturday.
More than 1.7 million homes are without power. A major energy operator serving 65 million households in the eastern part of the country is warning that the grid is under severe strain.
