Donald Trump said he can now be “really vicious” during a Nevada rally on Saturday in which he blasted Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton and the “sleaze-bag” journalist behind a recent controversial article.
Trump’s fiery comments come after Biden has gone on the attack, with the Democratic presidential nominee condemning Trump for an explosive story in The Atlantic that accuses Trump of disparaging US soldiers as “losers” and “suckers” during a trip to Europe in 2018.
At the rally, Trump recounted seeing a Biden campaign ad about the story, which Trump has vociferously denied, that reportedly pictured the president standing over the graves of soldiers.
“He’s a pathetic human being to let that happen where they had an ad like that where I’m standing over graves with no sources, nothing,” Trump said.
He continued: “Now I can be really vicious and we’re going to start by saying the Democrats are going to rig the election because that’s the only way they’ll win.”
