This 40 dollar smartwatch is the Haylou RT LS05S, which is a brand backed by Xiaomi.. but I have to be honest.. it needs a lot of software updates. I guess.. you cannot expect a lot from a 40 dollar smartwatch, but I believe that at least the basics should be good. Which isn’t in the case of this Haylou watch, backed by Xiaomi. I expected that Xiaomi would step in and make sure that whatever they release, had at least some sort of check.
The Mi Band 6 is for example similarly priced, with better, if not more features, but comes in a different shape. I do like the simplicity concept of the Haylou watch, but it needs a few software updates, before I can recommend it.
