Several vessels sink during Trump Boat Parade in Texas

Several vessels sank during a Trump Boat Parade in Texas as thousands of supporters across 23 states hit the waterways in support of the president.

On Lake Travis, Trump supporters reported “many boats in distress” during a parade to honor Donald Trump, KVUE reported.

Cops said at least four boats sank on the parade route, which passed through several popular spots on the Austin area lake – notorious for being tough to navigate.

A spokesperson for the sheriff’s office told the Associated Press that the cause of the sinking remains under investigation but law enforcement has “no reason to suspect foul play.”

EMS responders performed several water rescues, but no injuries or deaths were reported Saturday, cops said.

The Texas event was just one of scores of boat parades for the president held across the country on Saturday, with thousands showing their support for cops and law enforcement from the water and the shore.

Many of the boats were decked with Trump flags, Police Lives Matter banners and Old Glory.

Boat parades have become increasingly popular with MAGA fans who have held events around the country in the months leading up to the 2020 election.

As well as Texas, Trump Boat Parades were also held in Florida and New Jersey on Saturday.
