Rishi Sunak wins the race to replace Liz Truss as Conservative Party leader and is set to become the next UK PM.
Sole challenger Penny Mordaunt withdrew from the race after failing to secure enough support.
The election follows weeks of political and economic turmoil; Sunak will become the third British premier in two months.
As a Briton with Indian ancestry, he will be the first person of colour to lead the country.
