President Trump says 'something snapped' in police officer charged with George Floyd death

President Donald Trump said “something snapped” in the policeman accused of the second-degree murder of George Floyd.

He added that while he doesn’t believe the other three officers present at the arrest should be put in the same category as Derek Chauvin, they are “certainly in a very bad category”.

The president also called for “law and order” across the USA after days of protests, although he said he doesn’t think it will be necessary to send in the military.
