Thousands of North Koreans have joined a mass rally described as showing for the new year policy goals outlined by the ruling Workers’ Party of Korea, including increasing nuclear capabilities and improving national infrastructure. Workers, students and party members were gathered at the May Day Stadium in the capital Pyongyang for the event on January 5, 2023.
