Lethal avian influenza variant sweeping across West Africa

An outbreak of a lethal variant of avian influenza is sweeping across countries in West Africa.
It has killed millions of birds and officials are struggling to contain the spread of the virus.
Veterinary officials say that just one infection is enough reason to cull all the birds on an affected farm.
