Israel’s judicial system faces major changes

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s justice minister has unveiled a plan to overhaul the country’s judicial system and weaken the country’s Supreme Court.
Thousands of Israelis have protested against proposals to strip the Supreme Court of its powers to overturn laws voted on in the Knesset.

Al Jazeera’s Imran Khan reports from West Jerusalem on why the changes are so controversial.
