The Rafah crossing has opened, allowing aid trucks to enter Gaza for the first time since the Israel-Hamas war erupted.

Live images showed UN vehicles with white flags moving through the Rafah border crossing from Egypt into Gaza.

Israel has agreed to allow around 20 trucks carrying food, water and medicine – but no fuel – into Gaza through the southern crossing from Egypt.
