Since she was a child, Rina Gonoi had dreamed of joining the Japanese military. What she could not have expected was the daily sexual harassment she would endure after finally making it happen in 2020, according to her account. Gonoi has since decided to bring her experiences to light and fight for justice against the nation’s Self-Defence Force.
