A Chinese national has been shot in Ukraine amid an ongoing evacuation of Chinese citizens out of the country. China was late in getting its citizens to safety, despite warnings of an impending Russian invasion in the days leading up to the conflict. Now, as conditions worsen, embassy officials are working to get some 6,000 Chinese citizens out of Ukraine.
