China's 'city of the future': Xiongan showcase high-tech development

Six years ago, China’s President Xi Jinping announced plans for a new city, Xiongan, 100 kilometers from the capital.
Originally pitched to ease some of the pressure on Beijing, Xiongan gives authorities a chance to experiment with creating an ideal futuristic city.
