Chinese President Xi Jinping has promised to constructively participate in negotiations on resuming Iran’s nuclear agreement. Xi made the pledge while meeting visiting Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi in Beijing on February 14, 2023. Raisi was on a three-day trip to China during which he said he expects to sign nearly 20 deals meant to strengthen ties between the two countries.
