Kent Luk is a volunteer of the Paws Guardian Rescue Shelter, a crowd-funded organisation that provides long-term care for former stray animals in Hong Kong’s northern New Territories. Since 2015, he has provided a safe home for about 300 injured dogs and more than 200 cats. The 50-year-old and his team are on call 24 hours a day to help animals, no matter how old or sick some of the creatures are.
