31 people, including five women and a little girl, died on Wednesday after their rubber boat capsized while they attempted the sea crossing from France to Britain.

It’s the worst disaster on record involving migrants in the English Channel.

Two people were saved from the water and four suspected people-smugglers have been arrested.
