WATCH: 'It was obvious' what Trump wanted from Ukraine, Holmes tells Rep. Jordan

David Holmes, a top staffer at the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine, said the July 26 phone call he overheard between President Donald Trump and Gordon Sondland, the U.S. ambassador to the European Union, in which Trump asked about the “investigation” “validated what we believed”—that Trump was pushing for an investigation of the Bidens. “It was obvious what the president was pressing for,” Holmes said in a heated exchange with Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, during an impeachment hearing on Nov. 21.
