US election: Trump finally acknowledges Biden win, still refuses to concede

U.S. President Donald Trump officially acknowledged that President-elect Joe Biden won the United States presidential election, but still says he will not concede, continuing to claim that the vote was rigged.

Trump’s posts on Twitter come just over a week after the Associated Press and all other major news outlets projected Biden and Kamala Harris as president-elect and vice president-elect, respectively.

Biden had been projected to win at least 290 electoral votes, significantly higher than the 270 needed to secure the presidency.

Jennifer Johnson has more.
