Pieces of debris from the missing submersible Titan were found on June 22, 2023, ending a five-day multinational effort to rescue its five-person crew. The US Coast Guard said the sub, which set out to visit wreckage of the Titanic on June 18, suffered a “catastrophic implosion” and there were no survivors.
