Thai woman arrested on suspicion she murdered 13 friends with cyanide

Bangkok police have arrested a Thai woman who is suspected of murdering 13 people with cyanide. All of the victims were allegedly known friends and acquaintances of 36-year-old Sararat Rangsiwuthaporn. The woman was taken into custody in the Thai capital on April 26, 2023, for questioning and authorities have refused to grant her bail. Investigators suspect money to be a motive for the killings that happened over several years since 2020.
