South Koreans have been gathering near the scene of a deadly Halloween crush in Seoul to pay their last respects to those killed on October 29, 2022. Some mourners said the police could have done more to prevent the crowd surge in the capital’s Itaewon nightlife district that triggered a stampede killing at least 156 revellers attending a street party.
