Russia halts coal exports to Ukraine

Russia has stopped exporting coal to Ukraine, saying it has too much domestic demand this year.
Kyiv depends on Moscow for the resource to help power its electricity stations.
Ukraine has long accused Russia of using its vast energy resources as a weapon but now fears blackouts as winter temperatures drop in Eastern Europe.
