Residents of the northern Chinese city of Zhuzhou have begun returning home following catastrophic floods in Beijing and neighbouring Hebei province that killed over 20 people. Chinese authorities have set aside 350 million yuan (US$48.7 million) to fund the recovery work in affected areas, in addition to the 170 million yuan (US$23.6 million) package allocated earlier.
