Hong Kong Financial Secretary Paul Chan Mo-po has revealed that companies from the Middle East and Asean countries may visit Hong Kong in 2023 to explore opportunities to list in the Hong Kong stock market. Chan also vowed more aggressive action to reconnect the city with the world, citing the formation of a new task force, comprising advisers from a wide range of sectors, to map out strategies for promoting the Hong Kong advantage abroad.
