Mandatory vaccinations: Human rights vs. public health? | COVID-19 Special

COVID-19 has divided the world. Most recently, between the vaccinated and un-vaccinated.

Many American companies, from Google to CNN and United Airlines have made the vaccine compulsory for staff. The alternative – look for a new job.
In Germany, free corona-virus tests are coming to an end. Unvaccinated Germans will have to foot the bill, if they want to eat out or go shopping.

In France, a quarter-million people protested against tightening rules against the unvaccinated. They say liberty is at stake. It’s their body their choice. The French government is trying to speed up its vaccination drive, by making life for the non-vaccinated more complicated. Access to trains, domestic flights and restaurants and bars will only be allowed for the fully vaccinated, recently recovered or negatively tested.
