The Israeli government has approved a deal for the release of captives held by Hamas in Gaza.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office has released a statement saying 50 women and children will be released over a period of four days, during which there will be a pause in fighting.
This comes after weeks of negotiations, mediated by Qatar.
But Netanyahu has vowed to continue the war.
