Beijing has been hit by a new wave of Covid-19 outbreak, with nearly 500 cases confirmed since April 23. One residential compound in eastern Beijing has been under lockdown since April 29 after someone tested positive for Covid-19. More than 3,000 households and over 10,000 people live in the compound.
