Former Chinese premier Li Keqiang was cremated following an official ceremony led by Chinese President Xi Jinping in the capital Beijing on November 2, 2023. The 68-year-old died suddenly while on holiday in Shanghai. He had served as premier for two terms from 2013 to 2023 before stepping down in March.
