US retains military presence in northeast Syria

As US forces withdraw from Iraq and Afghanistan, the Biden administration is retaining its military presence in northeast Syria.
Less than 1,000 soldiers remain to prevent the resurgence of ISIL (ISIS).
They are fighting alongside the mainly Kurdish Syrian Democratic Forces.
Al Jazeera’s Osama Bin Javaid has more from northern Iraq.
