Xi Jinping and Joe Biden met on November 14, 2022, in Bali, Indonesia, before the official start of the G20 summit. In their first meeting in person since Biden took office, the Chinese and US presidents discussed a gamut of issues, including the US policy towards Taiwan and China’s human rights issues in Xinjiang.
