US Democrats have officially nominated former vice president Joe Biden as their party’s candidate to challenge President Donald Trump in the November election. This year the convention has gone online as social distancing guidance makes the old-style rallies impossible. Biden’s supporters endorsed him largely as the man who can unite a divided America and they include some heavyweights from the rival party. After the second day of the 2020 Democratic National Convention (DNC) the Democrats strategy for their 2020 election campaign is beginning to show. Unity really seems to be their message this year.
