Ten-year-old Yana, who fled the war in Ukraine, started Polish school three weeks ago and has already made a new best friend.
She has just begun classes at the school in Warsaw and communicates with her friend Alicja over Google Translate.
“If it wasn’t for her, I would never laugh so much and I wouldn’t be so happy,” said Alicja.
