Three shot dead during nationwide protests against Sudan coup

Activists in Sudan say another three people have been killed in protests against a military coup.
Hundreds of thousands of people took to the streets.
Soldiers used tear gas and blocked major roads, and there have been multiple reports of gunfire.
Regional and international actors have been calling on General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan to reverse the coup and restore the transitional government that he dissolved. But many protesters say even if that happens, it still falls short of their demands, which is the complete handing over of power to civilian rule.

Al Jazeera’s Hiba Morgan reports from Khartoum, Sudan.
