Thousands across Canada join truckers protesting COVID curbs

Hundreds of protesters were seen assembling on Parliament Hill and downtown streets in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, on Saturday morning as the second consecutive week of the “Freedom Convoy” got underway.
Thousands of people opposed to vaccine mandates have rallied in cities across Canada, as the mostly peaceful but noisy protests against COVID-19 restrictions spread from the national capital.
Protesters have promised not to stop their demonstration protest in the nation’s capital against COVID-19 vaccine mandates and other public health measures until all their demands are met.
