A health care worker in Hong Kong has recounted the chaos and confusion he saw at local hospitals as patients were seen waiting outside because of a shortage of wards to accommodate Covid-19 patients. Recent support from mainland Chinese health workers are among some measures the government has requested to avoid putting too much pressure on the city’s health care system.
