Qatar FM in Kabul: Top diplomat holds talk with Taliban

Qatar’s deputy prime minister and foreign minister has been holding talks with the Taliban leadership in Kabul.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani also met former President Hamid Karzai and former chief executive Abdullah Abdullah.
Sheikh Mohammed is the most senior official from any country to visit since the Taliban takeover.
Qatar helped restore operations at Kabul airport, which was damaged following the United States troop withdrawal.
