Pennsylvania 2020 Election: Why This Ex-Trump Voter Backs Biden

It’s a US election that saw the largest voter turnout in over 100 years, amid a COVID-19  pandemic. In a deeply divided America, supporters of Republican President Donald Trump and Democrat former Vice President Joe Biden dug in deep, leading to a nail-biting count of the votes. But it’s swing voters, specifically in key states like Pennsylvania, who may have helped make all the difference.

The ballot count in Pennsylvania, after polls closed, began with Trump taking a huge lead. But as mail-in ballots were added to the tally, Biden rapidly closed in and took over.
