Lebanon’s former PM Saad Hariri suspends political career

Former Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri says he’s suspending his role in political life and will not run in the upcoming parliamentary elections.
Hariri has urged his political party to not participate either.
Hariri’s political position has weakened in recent years, with some feeling that he had engaged too heavily with rival Hezbollah at his allies expense.
