Lebanon: New government wins parliament’s confidence vote

After a marathon session, Lebanon’s parliament endorsed Prime Minister Najib Mikati’s pledges to halt Lebanon’s economic crisis.
Mikati formed the government last week after more than a year of political deadlock and a deep economic crisis.
The country has been dealing with rampant corruption along with growing debt and increased poverty.
