Japan celebrates Seijin-no-hi, or Coming of Age Day, on the second Monday of January every year. This year’s celebrations marked a small step towards normalcy in cities like Tokyo, where the coronavirus pandemic left nearly all Seijin-no-hi events cancelled last year.
