‘It’s genocide’: Protesters slam Israel, support Palestinians

Israel’s bombardment of Gaza has set off a global outcry.
There have been solidarity rallies from Iraq to the United States.
Thousands march in support of Palestinians and denounce the Israeli occupation.
Across the US, demonstrations took place in Washington, New York, Chicago and at the state capital in Colorado, where even pro-Israeli voices joined the call for peace.
Thousands of Palestinian flag-waving supporters also emerged in London, Rome and Madrid.
The protests, coming on Nakba Day, spanned the globe.

Al Jazeera’s John Hendren reports from the US capital, Washington, DC.
