Istanbul faces affordable housing crisis as rent prices soar

One of the largest cities in Europe, Istanbul has an affordable housing crisis. Rent increases have trebled the global average this year and many residents are struggling to find a house that they can afford. This has also affected university students and some of them have spent the night in a park in protest.
